SkillsFest 2016 is a community
event run by the church (Port Melbourne congregation’s Simply Living Project) along with local community groups, SHIP and Inner South Community Health Service.
SkillsFest 2016 “Live Local, Share Local” will be held on Saturday 27th Feb, 1.30 – 5.00 pm at the Port Melbourne Uniting Church.
The programme will be an afternoon of free workshops that are practical, creative, sustainable and fun, and mostly led by local people.
The workshops include Bike Maintenance and Restoration, run by our BOLT team, and Restyle your Fashion, run by Carys and volunteers from our Op Shop. As well as the workshops this is an opportunity for all members of the community to know more about our programmes and how they can participate in the future.
We have a SkillsFest Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/SkillsFestPortMelb/, and website, www.spuc.org.au/skillsfest .
The programme and links to the booking pages for each workshop are on the web page.
