PAUL THE APOSTLE CONGREGATION
The congregation meets for Sunday worship at 10am in a beautiful 150 year old bluestone building; it has a first-class pipe organ with inspirational music played by our professional organist. The music is often complemented by a small, dedicated choir.
Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday, and is the centre of our worship, as in the early Church. The services also feature well-prepared Bible-based orthodox preaching.
The Pastoral Prayer is conducted by volunteer congregation members, and is taken very seriously.
The regular congregation consists of about 45-50 people, mainly in the age range 60-80years, although some younger people are occasional worshippers.
At Paul the Apostle, everyone is important. We are a very warm, accepting fellowship, evidenced notably at the after-church fellowship time over a cup of tea or coffee, and at fellowship events as arranged.
A keen Bible Study group, called Fellowship Fuel, meet monthly. Also the congregation is supporting a Uniting Church Overseas Aid project in Zambia.
The congregation gives prayerful and practical support for South Port Uniting Care.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10.00am for worship and to celebrate Holy Communion at
325 Dorcas Street

Paul the Apostle Worship Theme 5.2.2012
According to the Gospel of St Mark Jesus, acting in accord and in concert with God, begins his public activity with a series of healing miracles. People today are skeptical about reports of the performance of miracles but there is more to the biblical accounts of miracles than their formulaic account of various healings. At worship at Paul the Apostle on Sunday we shall reflect on these other facets of the miracle stories.
Fellowship Fuel
The Congregation of Paul the Apostle are an enthusiastic and committed community who want to deepen their appreciation of, and communion in, the Christian faith. They know that discussing the biblical words that bear witness to God’s love for men and women in Jesus Christ deepens their communion with one
another and equips them to live as followers of Christ. ‘Fellowship Fuel’ is a group that meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7-30pm in the Church foyer to share in learning about God’s grace.
Any interested person is welcome to join us.
Evening Prayer
Evening Prayer is a service of sung psalms that takes place once a month at the Congregation of Paul the Apostle.
Anyone is welcome to join us in worshipping God on the first Wednesday of each month at 7-00pm.
